How to Check Your Canva Website on Mobile
Most guests will open a wedding website on a phone. Review the entire experience on both mobile and desktop before sharing the URL.
Design for smaller screens
- Keep names, dates, buttons, and important text near the center of each page.
- Avoid placing essential content at extreme edges.
- Keep text large enough to read without zooming.
- Use clear contrast between text and backgrounds.
- Avoid unnecessary overlapping elements.
Preview in Canva
- Open Preview.
- Switch between desktop and mobile views when available.
- Review every page, not only the first page.
- Test menus, page links, buttons, forms, and embedded elements.
Test the published site
- Open the live URL on at least one phone and one computer.
- Use a private browser window to see what a guest sees.
- Test both Wi-Fi and cellular data when possible.
- Check loading speed, photo crops, line breaks, and button spacing.
- Rotate the phone only if the design is intended to support landscape use.
If something shifts on mobile
- Move the affected elements closer to the center.
- Simplify crowded sections.
- Reduce large gaps or oversized text boxes.
- Republish, then test the live URL again.
Final mobile checklist
- No text is clipped.
- Buttons are easy to tap.
- Links open the correct destination.
- Forms can be completed without horizontal scrolling.
- Names, date, location, and RSVP instructions are immediately understandable.
