Canva Troubleshooting and FAQ

Use these fixes for the most common template, editing, download, and Canva website problems.

The template link does not open

  • Download the access PDF and open it in a browser or PDF reader.
  • Try copying the link into a current browser.
  • Sign in to the Canva account where you want your editable copy saved.

Canva asks me to request access

Return to the original access PDF and use its template button. A buyer template link should create a separate design in your account. Do not request access to the seller's original design.

Canva asks me to pay

Sixtylight templates are intended to use the Canva account level stated in the product listing. If a payment prompt appears after you add or change something, check for an element, photo, font, or feature marked with a crown or paid label. Replace it with a free alternative, or use the required Canva plan.

A photo will not snap into the frame

  • Drag the photo directly over the center of the frame.
  • Wait until the frame highlights, then release it.
  • Double-click the placed photo to crop or reposition it.

My download looks blurry

  • Use the original high-resolution photo instead of a screenshot or social-media copy.
  • Choose PNG for digital sharing and PDF Print for professional printing.
  • Check the design at 100% zoom before downloading.

I accidentally changed or deleted something

  • Use Undo immediately.
  • Duplicate the design before making major layout changes.
  • If the design is badly altered, reopen the original buyer template link to create a fresh copy.

A link stopped working in my Canva website

Deleting or replacing linked text or images can remove the link. Select the new element, add the page or URL again, then test it in Preview and on the published site.

The mobile website layout looks wrong

Keep important text and controls near the center of each page, avoid overlapping elements, and review every page in Canva's mobile preview. See the mobile website checklist.
